Microbiome Test for General Health
Microbiome for General Health™ is a clinician-guided stool test that uses advanced DNA sequencing to provide an overview of the types and amounts of bacteria in your gut. The results are delivered in a practitioner-interpreted report and may help guide discussions around nutrition, gut health, immune function, and general wellbeing. This test is not diagnostic and should be used in consultation with a qualified healthcare practitioner.
This test uses a small stool sample to analyse microbial DNA and assess the types and relative amounts of bacteria present in your gut. At the core of the analysis is the Micro-Metabolomics Platform (MMP), a data matrix developed from over 1,000 healthy individuals and 500 patients with diagnosed gastrointestinal conditions.
Using this platform, your results are compared with known microbial patterns and blood-based microbial metabolites. The outcome is a detailed report that includes:
-
A profile of the microbial DNA found in your sample
-
Insights that may support clinical conversations around digestion, immune health, and metabolic function
-
Practitioner-guided interpretation to help inform personalised, evidence-based health strategies
All results are intended to be reviewed with your healthcare practitioner as part of a broader clinical assessment and care plan.
