How the Test Works
Using a small stool sample, the test sequences specific bacterial gene regions to assess the relative abundance of bacterial groups in your gut. The data is processed using proprietary bioinformatics methods and summarised in practitioner-interpreted reports.

What the Test Provides
This test uses a small stool sample to analyse microbial DNA and assess the types and relative amounts of bacteria present in your gut. At the core of the analysis is the Micro-Metabolomics Platform (MMP), a data matrix developed from over 1,000 healthy individuals and 500 patients with diagnosed gastrointestinal conditions.
Using this platform, your results are compared with known microbial patterns and blood-based microbial metabolites. The outcome is a detailed report that includes:
